Yeah, this is the case. Unfortunately, I've not had time to put into
cGoban1 since my last release.
However, if you add it as a feature to cgoban1's bugzilla on
sourceforge, I'll look into it when I have some time to devote to
cGoban1 again.

Nope. cGoban2 (the java version) is primarily a client for KGS.
