There are (1) Mandrivauser(s). I posted your call for help at the german
Mandrivauser forum to Florian (builded the "older packages")

http://www.mandrivauser.de/viewtopic.php?pid=202618#p202618

May be he/we can help you.
I'll try to help as much as i can. Currently i'm working on updating the gnumed packages for Mandriva 2009.0, then i'll send in a diff against the suse specs. Business as usual i'd say. Maybe we should work on a unified spec for all distributions the build service supports: http://en.opensuse.org/Build_Service/cross_distribution_package_how_to or at least fix/simplify the spec so it works with all distributions. I can help out with Mandriva and if someone gives me some informations about the other rpm-based distros, also with that.

I'll also have a question on the new v10 server, what would be the correct way to enable passwordless (or blank password, which comes out the same in the end) bootstrapping? As i had asked that for v9 server and Karsten told me to edit all .conf files from interactive=yes to interactive=no. This doesn't work with v10, the bootstrapping script complains about not finding the password
for gm-dbo database user.

This is a call for help. We need more people helping out with the packaging stuff. How much work is that for an individual ?
It's not that much work, maybe some people cannot dedicate more of their spare time or are not permitted to do these things during their work time? You could ask some maintainers of the distributions in question
for inclusion of gnumed into these distributions repositories.
I did this for mandriva a long time ago, for gnumed-server they refused (as a package in general shouldn't require/install a server-type package per mandriva policy) but the client package made it's way into mandriva subversion repository, along with some improvements/recommendations from a mandriva developer:
