fetchmail and gotmail are two differernt things. fetchmail allows you to
download mail from a Post Office Protocol (POP) server and gotmail retrieves
your mail from a hotmail account much in the same way fetchmail does
(well, not really, but the same as far as the user is concerned)

They are both a matter of editing their respective config files,
(.fetchmailrc and .gotmailrc) and running them independently.

"Using them together" is really just using them seperately, but at the
same time.
