Yup. BEAM files have literals stored in a single Deflated blob 
(https://beam-wisdoms.clau.se/en/latest/indepth-beam-file.html). So the 
scanning won't work.

Which means that either my patches should be merged or Git should be 
propagated. I'm not a super big fan of propagating optional dependencies, which 
is why I submitted the patch like this.
