[Help-gnu-radius] Radius dies

I keep getting this message from radius.

Does anyone have an idea about why is this happening ? I use gnu-radius-0.96
Also, sometimes, when the radius server is heavy loaded, it replyes to 
some request and then takes a break, and so again ...

I have almost 1000 dial-up lines used simultaneously, and at a certain 
hour the number goes from about 200-300 to almost 1000 in about a 
quarter hour.

Please reply asap.
