Similar problems have already been reported. The patch is available at

        http://savannah.gnu.org/patch/download.php?id=134

To apply:
   cd gnu-radius-0.96
   patch -p0 -l < FILENAME

Before recompiling, it is advised to increase the number of ports the
statistics database is able to handle, e.g.

    CFLAGS='-DSTAT_MAX_PORT_COUNT=4096' ./configure [OTHER-OPTIONS]
