file both in the root and the Attic

Hi,

How can a file, on the repository server, be both in the root 
($repo/Module/file/.txt) and in the Attic ($repo/Module/Attic/file.txt) ?

I'm trying to reproduce that, without success. I wonder if someone 
copied them directly, on the server.
