In any case many people consider WIPO to be badly named and campaign for
it to be changed. If I recall the FSF disapproves of the name.

As for those member states you have to wonder why they are member
states. I would suspect it's because the recording industries `put
pressure' on the political parties to encourage the `IP mentality'.
