oh yeah, you need to set font-encoding as well (for 2.2: use
font-encoding . text and for 2.3 font-encoding . latin1)
BTW, it might be a good idea to ask Bertalan if he can make a cygwin
release of lily 2.3.4. It will be easier if the trees don't diverge
that much.
