The good news is that I have written a lot of music combined with lyrics,
first
using addlyrics and later using lyricsto. The only thing I can think of
right
now is that lyricsto adds flexibility to combine lyrics and music in any
combination e.g. lyrics above music where addlyrics is somewhat simpler to
use. But I don't know if there are other differences as well? Other fonts?
other
algorithms for aligning? other spacing between lyrics and music? Those kind
of things I do not know; but maybe there is some else who knows more about
these differences.
