By the way, I made a bug report both to texinfo and to Mandriva, since 
unable neither to compile 
(http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-texinfo/2007-11/msg00008.html) 
nor package the rpm (http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=35481).
