I suppose it's the usual problem of old .pyc files laying around (installed
versions?) and being used instead of the newly compiled .pyc files.
There's no need to do a full "make clean" (which will recompile all of
lilypond, while only some pythong files make problem). First, try to delete
all .pyc files in python/ and scripts/, run "make" to rebuild them (and all
other changes that have been committed meanwhile) and try "make web" again.
If you have also installed lilypond from those sources before, run "make
install" before the "make web", too. After that, things should work.
Cheers,
Reinhold
