If you want to try messing with the parser, the "integrate chordmode
into notemode" topic is a good starting point.  Most of the reported
parser conflicts in that process should bear a recognizable relation to
an actual syntax issue.

Of course, this suggestion is entirely unselfish, and nobody should
suspect otherwise.
