This is the second time I have been softly required to speak, I think.
I hate to say that I do not teach LilyPond anymore but it is true that
I've had many students. And yes, I have some things to say regarding
to the lilypond syntax, mainly from the students' own perspective, but
I'd like to put them clearly listed first, along with the most common
mistakes. So give me some time.

What is clear is that at first, young students _hate_ to code to
obtain a printed score. At the end of a 30-week course, some really
love the program, some really hate it, the percentage being roughly
50% each and no intermediate group :-)

And there is the problem of proper formatting to obtain a readable
file. Oh, what a medal I deserve sometimes...!
