It is not like there will be functional changes in 2.16 any more (check <URL:code.google.com/p/lilypond/issues/list?can=1&q=Label%3DBackport> for more info, disregarding the 2.15 or earlier labels), so if you get a file ported over, you should not need to revisit it again except in very, very limited circumstances.
You may want to add the label Backport to issue 2791 (inaccuracies in LM).I want to include those fixes in my translation patch, that I'd like to be backported to 2.16.1
I'm still waiting for the proofreader's review...Hopefully within end of September I'll push it to translation branch and let you know the commit id.
