Not bad, almost right, I would make the vertical line at the end of the extender a little smaller, something like (cons 0 -1.0).

And when using \ottava #-1 the code for your extender line isn't usable. Take a look at Gould's Behind Bars p.28 chapter "Octave signs" to see what I'm trying to accomplish.
