Phil
Thanks very much - no I had not found that reference.
I've made some good progress already from this, but still a bit more to go - learning broadly about other related topics in the process.
As a result I'm now getting the overall structure of documentation clear - including the Internals Reference.

Best wishes
Micheal

It should point you towards how to do this.  If you have further questions, please ask.

Subject: vertical gap between staves

Hi there
My first time posting to the mailing list - sorry in advance for newbie errors and if I'm overlooking any of the normal etiquette!

I wish to set the vertical space between staves to be different to the default.
Specifically:
if V is the vertical space between staves, and
v is the vertical space between the horizontal lines within staves
I wish to set V = 2*v

I have reviewed the archive of posts for this issue, and it seems this topic has been covered before. However I have gotten lost in this review, and am none the wiser!

Could I request a steer please from anyone who has more experience in how to go about this please, or who can guide me through the previous posts on the topic?

Warmest regards
Micheal
