I have a dream… a dream that one day, I learn enough Scheme and can dedicate
enough time to rewrite the part-combine mechanism to solve some / many / all of
its current limitations. Certainly, one of the very first things I would
implement is a parameter by which the user could choose which items/grobs were
combined.

SO often, I just end up doing that… I sort of appreciate it as a pianist, but
it is tedious as an engraver.
Cheers,
Kieren.
