You ported Lout to the BeOS? Is the port available? Where can I find
it? If we get this Jade Lout backend going, I'll want it.

Same here. I'm trying to write a set of DSSSL Java Beans that would
allow a person to specify most of a DSSSL description without ever
having to touch Lisp. I'll let you know if it ever gets off paper. :-)

I'll do some preliminary investigation about what's involved in writing
a Jade backend and let you know, if you like.
