Can I have people's current throughts on the need for maintaining
a PDF back end. This back end never did diagrams, and now there
seems to be something called ps2pdf that converts PostScript into
pdf very reliably (so I'm told). Furthermore, hyperlinks have
been added to PostScript now and Lout actually generates them.
So I'm hypothesising that the best way forward from here would be
to withdraw the PDF back and end tell people who want PDF to run
the pipeline
lout | ps2pdf
However I'm not an expert on PDF by any means. Can those who
know more about it tell me whether I'm making sense?
