Hi Siva,
Actually I'm glad to hear from you. What this looks like is a problem
with the spec file and Ubuntu using the dash shell.
You must have some older version of LTIB, if you look at the current
texinfo.spec file it has:
mv $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{pfx}/%_prefix/bin/install-info
$RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{pfx}/%base/sbin/install-info
What is surprising is I changed this back in 2006, so what you have must
be really old. You don't have to move forward, but from a support point
of view, older versions are harder to deal with.
