hi stuart,
      the error is while rpm_build_root of the textinfo package.. once i commented the line in the spec file dist/lfs-5.1/texinfo/texinfo.spec

#mv $RPM_BUILD_ROOT/%{pfx}/{%_prefix/bin,%base/sbin}/install-info

then its worked properly afterwards.Sorry i didnt took the error message .Anyway ltib is installed successfully after this.

Best regards,
Siva

Hi Siva,

host side build fails are (deliberately) not re-started.  You need to
remove the failed build:
$ rm -rf /opt/freescale/ltib/usr/src/rpm/BUILD/texinfo-4.8

Once you've done that, re-try and cut and paste the error output.  I've
not tried on Ubuntu 8.10, so it's likely distro related.

Regards, Stuart
