[lwip-users] Sockets interface without kernel ??

Hi all,
I am wondering if there is a socket interface for lwIP without the
kernel. I understand that kernel is needed to do blocking related
features. How about having a sockets interface that will be
non-blocking for RAW mode? This will certainly be useful.

Is this something that people have thought about? Is there any other
reason that I am missing out?
