Need I say more?  :-)

I was thinking that relying directly on changelog certs doesn't quite work in the face of forks and merges. It might not list all of the associated changelog certs (if it follows one ancestor and not the other(s)). But it actually does trace back through *all* ancestors so it would in fact list all changelog entries.

So does the ChangeLog file actually serve some purpose beyond what changelog certs already provide? Assuming some standard format is used for changelog cert entries...
