I don't believe that I would ever use these.  I would never be
comfortable knowing whether I had specified exactly what I thought I
had specified.

I would much rather type three simple commands than one complex one. 
Of course, my definition of simple changes with practice ::grin::

I have no idea if my opinion is representative of anything except my
own odd thinking processes, but there it is.
