Currently you can put a key id into the MT/options file in a working copy. I'm not sure if that's documented, but it's been mentioned on the mailing list several times.
I searched the historical records of the mailing list and didn't find an example of how to do this. I tried a few different things modifying my MT/options file, but I'm unable to guess the right incantation. I can't find it in the docs.
There is a line in my MT/options files that reads: key ""I tried changing that to key "filename of key" and also key "insert actual text of key"
Neither one worked for me.If I place a key id in the MT/options file in a working directory and have no key in my Application Data/monotone/keys directory, will that solve my desire for multiple keys with the same ID when migrating to monotone 0.24?
Thanks, Howard
