An unofficial semi-static binary is available here:
  http://www.ipd.uni-karlsruhe.de/~moschny/monotone/

It is built with gcc-4.1.1 and boost-1.33.1, optimized for size, and
statically linked against all but libc and libm, so the binary should
run on any  glibc-2.3/i686 system.
