[Monotone-devel] mtn log with a directory name producing very strange output

I see this if I run an `mtn log` with a directory name I see output like this:

Which seems, er, somewhat strange, not to mention being nigh
unreadable (in the top level directory (this is from a subdir), it
shows about 60 different heads all being merged which I know is not
accurate). A simple `log` with no names does not show this at all (a
few merges here and there, of course). `db check` shows no
errors. What am I doing wrong / what did I break?

I see this with workspaces containing Botan or Monotone, but not in a
project that has only one branch. This is 0.36 on an x86/Linux box, I
can provide full debug/version info if this is not something
known/obvious.
