Mhh... as a port updater, I'd rather use ">= bundled" instead of "==
bundled", under the assumption that (most) new releases add features and
not remove/broke them (but again, I know nothing of how much this
assumption is valid in PCRE case).

Using "==" I don't think I can use system PCRE in FreeBSD ports, as only
"latest and current version" of other ports is linkable (except those
ports which broke the API and are kept as separate ports for other apps
to still link with)... as soon as a new PCRE is out I'd have to change
the monotone port to use the bundled one (as system one would probably
be 7.7 and mtn still wants 7.6...).

Does Debian keep old versions of any package for this "fixed revision
requirement" to work? (just curiosity)
