Ah, that makes sense.
So to find the nominal branch of such a revision, I could look at its
parents.
It's actually not a problem, now that DVC can handle missing branch certs.

Given the above, perhaps missing branch certs should not be called
"serious" errors? As long as they are not heads, perhaps.
