The word “lit” specifically has a fairly interesting colloquial meaning; I 
might even go as far to say that the usage of the word in that context might 
outstrip its use conveying the meaning you’re trying to evoke. While it’s a 
couple more characters, personally I prefer “lightred” over “litred” from a 
clarity/phonesthetic perspective. Just my 2¢.
