Follow-up Comment #2, bug #34573 (project octave):
I would if I have had the slightest idea in this 'compilation'. I've seen
posts when people compiled the RC - a few of them compiled on windows. Is it
so time consuming to compile also the release when everything is already set
up? Do you think that walking me through this would take someone less time
than just doing it himself?
I've tried to compile already. Failed miserably due to the lack of
dependencies like pcr-something. Now I even tried to compile that
pcr-something, but that also failed for some other reason (something else is
missing). BTW, I do not understand why the release source does not contain all
the dependencies it needs to compile?
