Follow-up Comment #8, bug #41067 (project octave): That would be my best guess, either start with the minimal dependencies and add libraries until it works, or remove libraries until it no longer works. You will probably have to rebuild from scratch for each dependency change. Tedious :) I'll take a stab at doing the same when I have time. I already determined your first configure had fltk-1.1.
