Update of bug #44349 (project octave): Item Group: None => Feature Request Status: None => Confirmed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #1: Since 4.0 is the GUI release, I propose that the .desktop be updated to start the GUI unconditionally. No need for 2 desktop entries. People who want to use Octave in a terminal or in Emacs should know how to do that. People who start Octave from a launcher icon should get the GUI now. The launcher needs --force-gui also, right?
