Follow-up Comment #16, bug #45816 (project octave): I find it a little strange to #include a file in the middle of a function... Maybe use #if ! defined (OCTAVE_HAVE_POSIX_FILESYSTEM) ? That would limit it to just Windows systems and not Cygwin.
