Follow-up Comment #19, bug #51388 (project octave): What do you mean about the file separator making a difference? If you use one kind of slash this problem does not occur but it does with the other? I can upload a new version of cwdtest to print the path names that appear to not be equal after changing directory, that might illuminate whether it's the directory that is not changing or if there is some file separator issue going on here.
