Follow-up Comment #15, bug #53258 (project octave): I don't remember that overriding to N+1 (11) was sufficient. I believe there were still occasional failures. I did only occasional checking to verify the iter count and I believe it was sometimes 12 or 13. There was no need to find the exact number where it worked so I set it to 20.
