Follow-up Comment #16, bug #54235 (project octave):

"And no, the config.log is not attached."

I don't get it.  I clicked on the "Attach files" button, clicked on the file
in the file browser and it appeared next to the add button.  It's not over the
file size limit.  In any case:

"the Solaris 'id' program is not POSIX-compatible."

There is another id in /usr/xpg5/bin/

# file /usr/bin/id
