Follow-up Comment #90, bug #54235 (project octave): Does a patch file to some code in pr-output.cc force a rebuild of the user manual? I wouldn't think so. We have build rules in place that extract the doc strings and only update the timestamps on files if the strings themselves have changed. Since we are only patching code, the user manual should not need to be rebuilt, unless a doc string is actually changed.
