Follow-up Comment #101, bug #54235 (project octave):

I untarred your new 4.4.0x directory and tried applying the pow patch, and got
this:


# pwd
/export/home/michele/octave-4.4.0x
# ls *.diff
abs.diff  pow.diff
# gpatch -p1 <abs.diff
patching file libinterp/corefcn/pr-output.cc
