Follow-up Comment #104, bug #54235 (project octave):

"1. Please start by deleting the entire source tree and unpacking the tar file
from scratch.

2. Only apply abs.diff with gpatch, you can throw away pow.diff, it has
already been applied to the Octave source tree for 4.4.1 and is included in
Rik's tarball already."

Thanks for the clear directions.  Unfortunately, after starting with a fresh
untar of the latest 4.4.0x and then applying abs.diff, I still get:


# cd octave-4.4.0x
# gpatch -p1 <abs.diff
patching file libinterp/corefcn/pr-output.cc

Hunk #2 FAILED at 1710.
Hunk #3 succeeded at 1731 (offset -2 lines).
Hunk #4 succeeded at 1760 (offset -2 lines).

libinterp/corefcn/pr-output.cc.rej
