                  Status:             In Progress => Fixed

Follow-up Comment #22:

Hm, nevermind, I now see that the value of LDFLAGS from configure is also
reflected in the OCT_LINK_OPTS variable which is already used in the mkoctfile
link stage, so no problem. These variable names are very confusing and could
use some more cleaning up, but I think we can call this one done.
