Follow-up Comment #24, bug #48678 (project octave):

Since Octave now provides a .pc file to be used with pkg-config, should the
deprecationg be recommending users to replace 'mkoctfile -p LFLAGS' with
'pkg-config --libs-only-L octave' instead of 'mkoctfile -p LDFLAGS'?
