Follow-up Comment #13, bug #58641 (project octave): > Is this confined to OpenJDK, does Oracle Java behave differently? I'm pretty sure that the Oracle JDK is actually built from the same code base as OpenJDK; it differs only in licensing and some deployment & packaging stuff added in.
