Follow-up Comment #25, bug #59426 (project octave):
My issues are in Octave-7.0.0. I don't use 6.1, but I can try a nightly if you
wish to check if that behaves better.
Sure I can try with downgrading Qt to 5.14 (essentially starting a new
mxe-octave build tree).
I suppose my issues don't block a new Octave-6.x release. I just posted here
as the issue also affects dev Octave.
