Follow-up Comment #32, bug #59426 (project octave):
The behavior strongly depends on the window layout. In certain layouts, I can
now reproduce the bug with Qt 5.15, too. Specifically, I can reliably
reproduce the issue when I have three widgets tabbed left and the command
widget is located right. In this configuration, Octave always starts with the
border between the widgets in the middle of the main window.
