Follow-up Comment #61, bug #59546 (project octave):

@Pantxo: I'm trying some options with gs as you suggested in #52.

However, after this:


sombrero
print -svgconvert -dpdfcrop sombrero.pdf


I realize that even the pdf is not as good as the png version. The pdf looks
just like file #51060.
If you compare the "peak" of the sombrero, it is easy to identify that the
"lines" over the surface looks ugly.

Therefore, any attempt to convert pdf to eps will not produce a good looking
sombrero.

Even using

print -dsvg

does not produces a good svg file.

Instead of this, I tryed to change the graph toolkit to gnuplot and the
sombrero.pdf looks very good. Very similar to png (I'm considering only the
surface in this comparison)

May it be an issue/limitation with gl2ps library?
