Follow-up Comment #64, bug #59546 (project octave):

I noticed that if I don't have dvipng installed, there is a message about it
missing when running "make check" but the tests pass:


  libinterp/corefcn/graphics.cc-tst ..............................sh: 1:
dvipng: not found
 pass   53/53  


Is that the behavior we want or should the test be failing because of an error
here?

I also noticed that the new base-text-renderer.cc file has a copyright date of
2021 (only) even though it appears to be derived from ft-text-renderer.cc, so
maybe it should have the same range of dates as the original file?  Similarly,
the new latex-text-renderer.cc file has a copyright range of 2013-2021.  Is
that all new code or derived from some other file(s)?  If it is all new, it
should probably have 2021 only in the copyright year.
