Follow-up Comment #3, bug #61791 (project octave):

Could you try downloading the 7.0.90 Release Candidate at
alpha.gnu.org/gnu/octave and then building (configure, make, make install) and
then try again your failing example?

There was work done in the last year that eliminated some crashes in
destructors when Octave was exiting.
