Follow-up Comment #3, bug #61821 (project octave): The issue seems to be larger than the toy example. Luckily for this reason Octave's release candidates are for: finding problems before the official release 🙂 Thus thanks for trying out in time. Is it possible to see your application or package that does not work with the restricted symbol visibility? You seem to have lots of insight into MS Windows DLL development. Would you like to join in the dicussion on Octave Discourse?
